Equity in Research and Program Evaluation
Fairness and justice are values and principles that I apply when conducting research and program evaluation within public health. This looks like asking critical questions at every stage– planning, design, data collection, interpretation of results and reporting–about context, inclusion, and partnership. In my work, leaders, funders, and communities are partners with shared goals and investments in outcomes.
After almost 15 years of combined leadership experiences in national, local, community-based, and internationally focused nonprofits, I seek to provide actionable research and evaluation that improve policies, programs, and systems. I have worked side by side with patients, physicians, medical education professionals, community members (children, women, seniors and parents) food security experts and nutritionists, as well as researchers and faculty.
